3G can receive data at up to - 384 Kbps and send data at upto - 64Kbps.
Whenever you are not in 3G coverage, the Data Card will move seamlessly over to the GPRS network.
GPRS can receive data at up to - 48 Kbps and send data at upto - 24Kbps.

Your Data Card can be delivered to your hotel, bed and breakfast or business address, Monday through Friday. You can also have your data card delivered to any Post Office throughout the country. You can also collect your data card at most car rental desks at Shannon (except Avis and Budget). We cannot deliver data cards to car hire desk at Dublin Airport.

Operating on the 3G and GPRS network these cards provide data connectivity to the internet. A card operating on this network can connect at substantially faster speeds than a dial up modem, therefore there is no need for a landline.
The card simply slots into your laptop and connects to the O2 network.
